I forgot to give a huge shoutout to my awesome teammates, Michelle and Laura. They hosted a fundraising party on Sunday night (no small feat, in and of itself), and they MADE ME A CAKE! A homemade, triple-decker chocolate one! Thank goodness I got my butt off the couch and actually made it to their party - I would have felt terribly had I stood up the cake.
I did not represent the Ironteam very well, however, when I blew out the candles. Four tries. (I swear they were trick candles, though I heard conflicting reports!)
I have asthma, you people!
Anyway, Michelle and Laura made my day - thanks!
